As Financial Controller, you will ensure that:

Departmental objectives are set up and monitored. You coach and supervise your team and support them (also operationally) where necessary. You report developments within your department to our financial director.

In addition, you are responsible for compliance with financial procedures, keeping a close eye on tax laws and regulations, ensuring proper integration into the organisation. You are also responsible for insurances, subsidies, drawing up and monitoring the budget and you are the point of contact for various external parties such as banks and accountants.

Another part of your duties will include both internal and external reporting. This includes: monthly reports, annual accounts and CSRD sustainability reporting. Managing and planning working capital is also part of your tasks. Furthermore, you identify and report trends, develop and implement management dashboards and support other departments in the field of BI.

Most importantly, besides being our financial expert, you will also be EuroMouldings' IT expert. You are involved in IT strategy, policy, the network and our ERP system (Exact Globe). Both internally and externally, you are the point of enquiry regarding IT. You support projects, but are also available daily for all kinds of ad hoc questions and activities.

EuroMouldings and our Financial Controler:

We are a full-time production company, part of the German family-owned company AST, where we produce plastic bottles and jerry cans 24/7 with more than 150 colleagues. This makes our environment dynamic and challenging. It is crucial that this appeals to you and matches your personality.

This is because no two days in this job are the same. One moment you are working on a strategic component in cooperation with management and the next moment you are linking up ad hoc with a colleague from one of our production departments. Being in frequent contact with different departments requires social skills. You can switch easily, are approachable and bring a dose of enthusiasm. We offer you the opportunity to develop yourself further and are very much in favour of new ideas and initiatives. However, this requires drive and pro-activity.
