Who is EuroMouldings?

We are a full-time company with 170 employees based in Nijverdal. Every day, we produce plastic packaging from 250ml to 25L with a machine park of around 40 machines. Our bottles and jerrycans are produced by the process of extrusion blow moulding (EBM). Every day, we supply our products to various customers such as the oil and lubricant, chemical and food sectors.

A day as a Quality Control employee:

Your day starts together with your colleagues Leida and Ellen who also work in our quality department. After a brief consultation on the state of affairs, you start your daily quality round. Every day you perform various measurements, such as neck or wall thickness measurements, and visually check our products for colour and shape, for example. During this round, you note and record any quality deviations. You then discuss this with our team leaders.

After performing your quality assessment round, you start working on an internal quality blockage. You try to get answers to questions about this blockage. What is the cause of this blockage? What are the consequences for the customer? What actions should we take? After you have painted a good picture alone or together with those involved and carried out appropriate actions, you develop a plan of action to prevent this blockade from happening again.

At the end of the working day, another one of our Mechenical Technicians, responsible for converting our machines, will be at your desk. It is up to you to assess whether the product they have checked meets all specifications. To round off the day, you carry out an entry check for the incoming recycling material.

Needless to say, you pay close attention during the week and react to quality problems or other issues that stand out. If necessary, you discuss this with your colleagues or manager Erwin. With your sharp eye and commitment, we can make improvement proposals and further improve our quality level.

Duties and responsibilities in a nutshell:

  • Performing quality checks at the small and large packaging departments;
  • Handling and following up internal and external quality complaints;
  • Performing UN quality checks such as drop and pressure testing;
  • Releasing bottles and jerry cans after machine conversions;
  • When observing quality problems, analysing them and ensuring an appropriate solution together with your team;
  • Support, advise and motivate colleagues in the area of quality.

Who are you?

  • Precise and critical;
  • Practical and analytical;
  • Communicative and people-oriented;
  • You are willing to perform weekend checks once every 2 months at most; 
  • You have a good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing;
  • A minimum of 3 years' work experience in a similar position is a plus.

We offer:

  • An informal working atmosphere within a dynamic team;
  • 25 vacation days and 11.5 ATV days based on full-time employment;
